I have changed the publication date on this post to show on the calendar for the day it should have appeared. However, the original publication date was actually April 13, 2012.

I missed yesterday’s deadline, was just so tired. Here is a haiku for yesterday:

Euthenics (suggested by Tabitha)

environment and
accoutrements reflect
man’s long quest: perfection

I had never heard or read this term before. Here is a definition from Dictionary.com. Here is an entry from the online Vassar encyclopedia that illustrates how euthenics plays out in real life. I have only to look around me to see euthenics in action, from the comfortable chairs (lumbar support) to the electric lights (full-spectrum) to the plumbing (’nuff said).
