This has been a lovely vacation. Hard to write posts on the ipad, must remember to bring a keyboard next time! Hence, the out of order posting, and the posting of this the day I got home instead of while on the road yesterday. It was written while waiting for the ferry, when I didn’t have an internet connection.
Also, not as convenient to take pictures, so many opportunities were lost. Will have to do it the old fashioned way and describe some of the people and events.
Going home after several days away I am always just a little wistful. This time, however, felt so much more like it had a beginning, a middle and an end, that I am more content. I didn’t do some of the things I usually do, I did some things that were brand new, and I visited with good friends, old friends, new friends the entire way.
Still, I will be glad to be home, back in my garden, sorting through boxes and getting my wardrobe ready for the new year. Summer has another month yet, but it will be a fast month!
