This afternoon I wandered out to the house because it was a sunny day and, migraine or no migraine, it was too beautiful to waste!

I am glad I did. We have insulation in the exterior walls. I took a couple pictures with my cellphone, but was too excited that most of them didn’t turn out. Here is one that did. Mother, in front of the fireplace.

And here is even more proof of progress: the propane is connected!

And we have put a deposit down for the kitchen countertops… and the vanity top for Grant’s bathroom. We will put off a countertop for our bathroom. It will be good to take a little more time there. A plain-jane top will do us fine for the nonce!
