Here are some of the less intellectual, but still fun games I really enjoy.

  • Puzzle Pirates This game is really fun. A role-playing game that allows each player up to three personas (or personae if you prefer latin endings), if you pay to play you can quickly build up points to acquire great booty… if you play for free you can still acquire things, but it will take longer. In many ways this resembles the Civilization game my Tom plays, there are trade and manufacturing and other things modeled on the way the real world works. Good for kids, because there is the possibility of chatting with others parents will want to have the “talk” about being careful with real names, locations and other personal information.
  • Free Rice, a word-association vocabulary-building game that donates rice for every word you get correct.
