  • The Garden in April

    Only a few weeks ago, the limbs of the trees were only beginning to swell, and only a few bold spikes poked up through the ground where hyacinths and daffodils were waiting.

    Yesterday, I walked through the garden during a break in the rain (and you may note in the pictures that the sun was shining!), and documented the progress since my last post.

    Daffodils, the Russian plum, a few white violets, trillium. In greens, a few of the native fern slowly uncurling, the bridal veil spirea, the tips of the willow by the propane tank.
