This was today’s “reveal” —

Moving up the driveway:

Murphy, learning who has been visiting "his" yard.

(Murphy is Mother’s dog!)

Through the garden:

Sedum from my friend Dorothy, one of the few plants from up near the house to thrive in its temporary location! It lives between a pot of strawberries and a spurge that is blooming with lovely pink bracts.

To the house!

Jon, setting up the tubing. The white lines are the radiant tubes!!! He ties them to the wire grid that the concrete gets poured over. It's all finally coming together. :-D

The last pic is of Jon-the-plumber (I have his permission to post it) and the “pex” tubing that runs the heat all through my lovely warm floors.

And in further news… I have a job for the school year. Teaching just over half time, in a school that “feels” right, and very close to Tom’s work for carpooling.

One Interaction on “RADIANT HEAT!!!

  1. I have to say congratulations for toughing out all the terrible things that have happened this past couple of years. I am so proud of you for getting back up again every time you got knocked down. What a lesson for your sons! I am so happy that you have a job that is not full time so you can have time to direct the house building and recover your energy when you need to. Well done, good friend.
    love, me
